Corpus Plan vs SEOptimer
Their audit is a lead-capture widget for agencies. Ours is the product.
SEOptimer's embeddable audit is sold to agencies as a lead-generation plan built on email and contact capture, and its multi-model GEO prompt-visibility checks are a separate paid product. Corpus Plan's free audit is complete with no wall, and the GEO capability lives inside the same $99/mo portal — not a second product.
Every SEOptimer claim on this page carries a numbered source — the full list, with access dates, is at the end. Where a fact is not published, the table says so; we don't guess.
Side by side
Feature by feature, with sources.
Nothing on our free report exists to capture your email — there is no wall to put one behind. And when you do pay, it is one flat price for the whole portal: plan, monitoring, GEO files, traffic, research, drafts.
| What | Corpus Plan | SEOptimer |
|---|---|---|
| Free audit — the gate | The unsaved report is a hook. The full report needs a free email-and-password account, no card. The report link lasts 30 days (permanent, with export and re-scans, once saved to that free account). 3 free audits per connection per day. | The embeddable audit widget is sold to agencies as a “Lead Generation” plan — the audit as a way to capture email addresses and contact details, with 2,000+ agencies claimed. [2] [3] |
| What the free tier includes | The unsaved report is a hook. The full report — five pillar scores (SEO, speed, trust, content, AI citability), every finding with the reason written out, and the prioritized plan — needs a free email-and-password account, no card. | — not published on the pages we checked. [1] [2] [3] |
| AI / GEO checking | AI citability is a scored pillar of every audit: llms.txt, JSON-LD structured data, AI-crawler rules in robots.txt, content extractability, question-shaped content, answer structure. The portal adds an AI-visibility check — one model, at one moment, labeled as such, never a promise of mentions. | A GEO section in every report, plus a separate paid GEO product that checks prompt visibility across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity. [1] |
| Artifact generation | The portal generates the files, not just the findings: llms.txt (framed honestly — a proposed standard read today mostly by SEO and GEO audit tools, not AI crawlers, and cheap to publish), JSON-LD, robots rules for AI crawlers, FAQ suggestions, and grounded content drafts. | — not published on the pages we checked. [1] [2] [3] |
| Worked plan | A prioritized worked plan built from your findings comes with the free report; the portal adds the 30/60/90-day version. | — not published on the pages we checked. [1] [2] [3] |
| Monitoring | Weekly re-scans of every tracked site, with an alert when a score drops. | — not published on the pages we checked. [1] [2] [3] |
| Traffic data | Search Console traffic inside the portal, next to the findings it relates to, plus capped keyword and competitor research. | — not published on the pages we checked. [1] [2] [3] |
| Pricing model | $99/mo flat for the portal, up to 10 sites, cancel anytime. No credits, no metering. | Lead Generation (the embeddable widget) at $59/mo, or $44.25/mo billed annually; the GEO prompt-visibility product is a separate paid product. [1] [3] |
| Methodology transparency | Published at /methodology: every finding code, threshold band and deduction, with its basis cited — rendered from the same constants the engine runs. Deterministic checks held to a suite of 470+ automated tests. | — not published on the pages we checked. [1] [2] [3] |
"Not published" means the sources below do not establish that fact — we say so rather than guess. And a comparison table changes nothing about the one thing no tool can do: neither column is a promise of rankings or AI mentions.
Fair is fair
Where SEOptimer is strong
The GEO prompt-visibility product covers more models than our check does: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity, where Corpus Plan deliberately runs one model and labels it as such. If multi-model prompt tracking is the thing you need, theirs is broader. [1]
If you are an agency that wants an audit widget on your own site to capture leads, that is exactly the product they sell — 2,000+ agencies claimed — and Corpus Plan does not offer an embeddable widget at all. [2]
